CITS Students and Staff Advance Their Qualification in Inclusion
A training course has been organized for interpreters of Russian Sign Language and RSL learners of Astrakhan Region as part of the implementation of a grant from the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
The Educational and Methodological Center of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf, Moscow, organized a unique educational program for learning Russian Sign Language, Level 1, as well as an advanced training course for interpreters of the region.
The courses lasted 3 months; the trainees learned a lot of new material and improve their existing skills.
The classes were taught by deaf teachers, which helped the trainees immerse themselves in the atmosphere of communication with people with hearing impairments and overcome the language barrier faster.
At the end of the courses, all participants of the program successfully passed the exams and received certificates of RSL proficiency, Level 1, and advanced training certificates.
We wish our students and colleagues new professional achievements in learning RSL and interpreting!
