Astrakhan Governor A.I. at the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation!

On Monday, Astrakhan State University welcomed Sergey Morozov, the Governor of the Astrakhan region a.i. Konstantin Markelov, the ASU Acting Rector, showed the main laboratories and innovative centres to the distinguished guest, including the classrooms of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation. Elena Yakovleva, a leading expert of the School, told the delegation about the history of the School establishment, its main activities, graduates’ employment and our key international and Russian partners.
Governor Morozov had a look at the top-class conference interpreting equipment and learnt about foreign experts that will visit the School in the near future. The guest also asked our MA students a couple of questions about their studies and stressed the importance of having knowledge of foreign languages for a successful work in our region which is, in fact, a platform of holding different international events and implementing Caspian projects.
