Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation students are striving to succeed!
From March, 21 to March, 25 the students of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation have classes with Paolo Torrigiani, the Head of the Italian Unit of the Directorate-General for Interpretation of the European Commission. Paolo prepared an interesting and intensive program for the students. It includes the exercises for upgrading the most important interpreter’s skills, which are the practice in consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, speech making, the evaluation of the colleagues’ presentation, note-making, etc. Some classes are attended by both the 1st– and the 2nd-year students, that is, as Paolo stresses, very important: students get new useful experience, valuable recommendations and learn how to work for a large audience.
