The international TV and radio company MIR shooting a plot devoted to the Caspian Higher School of Interpretation and Translation!

On April, 8 the international TV and radio company MIR shot a plot devoted to the Caspian Higher School of Interpretation and Translation! The shooting was held in the main interpreting room with the participation of the 1st and 2nd year MA students as well as teachers and foreign students studying at our university. The plot is based on a lesson of a specific “mock conference” format which has already become traditional for our students. The MA students were glad to hold a “meeting” of the Olympic Games presidents and to discuss the Olympics legacy in different countries. The meeting working languages were Russian, English, Italian, French and Turkish. The film directors were shooting the meeting itself as well as everything that was happening in the interpreting booths, so the work of our future interpreters will be heard in 10 countries where the TV and radio company MIR is broadcasted!

Moreover, after the mock conference the journalists interviewed our teachers as well as some students having practiced in the international organizations and foreign universities within the MA program of the Caspian Higher School of Interpretation and Translation.
