CITS Interpreters’ Work at 2023 Caspian Forum to Be Highly Praised

Employees and students of CITS took an active part in the organization of the international forum Caspian Region 2023: Sustainable Development Trajectories, providing linguistic support for the foreign delegates.

It is interesting to note that CITS hosted a meeting of the Committee on Science with representatives of universities of the Caspian countries. The working languages of the meeting were Russian, English and Farsi. Our interpreters provided linguistic support during the signing of a cooperation agreement between Astrakhan State University and Mazandaran Science and Technology Park.

Interpreters of the meeting were Bahareh Fathi, a professor of the Department of Asian Languages, Arseny Danielyan, an MA student of CITS, and Danil Kushaev, a 4th year student of the ASU Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Modabber Ruhollah, an analyst of popular Iranian media and a TV host, gave an interview for Astrakhan 24 Channel, and Arseny Danielyan ensured comfortable communication between the two colleagues.

The CITS staff showed a high level of competence and coped with all the tasks; their work was appreciated by both the organizers and participants of the forum. Representatives of foreign universities expressed their hope for further cooperation.
