The III Global Dialogue International Forum of Conference Interpreters is being held in Moscow on the platform of the Peoples Friendship University of Russia (RUDN).

The forum will combine several programs at once: training which is a series of workshops to improve interpretation skills, the main business program, “Asian Dialogue” – a special program for Asian languages, Russian and CIS languages, as well as a program for special types of interpretation – “Inclusive Dialogue”.

Ulyana Savelyeva, Head of the Caspian School of Interpreting and Translation, is participating in the forum in Moscow now.

Teachers and students who specialize on conference interpreting get training in the framework of the Global Dialogue forum in Peoples Friendship University of Russia in Moscow. This Monday special attention was paid to introduction to interpretation which is vital for interpreters. Master class by Vadim Kurilov, owner of the EITCOM communications agency, marketing communications expert, author and leader of the “Voice – base of effective business communication” trainings, was particularly remarkable. Voice is an important tool in the interpreter’s “suitcase”, and every specialist who wants to succeed in their business should master their voice.Vadim Kurilov has presented an interesting master class, based on an effective scheme for public speaking preparing, where he explained the importance of using an effective technique for speech development through the use of voice control. The impactful ending of the day was a lecture by Konstantin Yakovlev, an interpreter who worked in hot spots. He told students and teachers what they need to know when they are sent to war zones, and which physical and interpreting security measures to do their work effectively should be observed.

Two more days of interesting communication and discussions are ahead for the forum participants. Global Dialogue program includes the following activities:
