CITS Helps Organize North–South ITC International Forum

The opening ceremony of the International Forum North – South ITC: a New Concept took place on October 25; it was attended by representatives of more than ten countries, including Russia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy of Astrakhan Region, RusIranExpo companies, the Caspian International Integration Club “North – South”, and Astrakhan Tatishchev State University.

ASU and CITS staff provided assistance in forum organization, as well as simultaneous interpretation into English and Persian during the whole day and at the signing of a bilateral agreement between Iranian and Russian representatives.

Interpretation at the forum was provided by Arseny Danielyan and Danil Kushaev, professors at the Department of Asian Languages, Dmitry Zhuravlev, a CITS graduate, Sabina Kazymova and Yulia Gorkun, CITS staff.

In addition, Igor Alekseev, Acting Rector of ASU, presented a report on topic Prospects for the Development of North–South ITC Digital Platform: Analytics of Labor Market and Educational Trajectories at one of the forum sessions.
