Giuseppe Lo Porto, the Head of the Education Department of the Consulate-General of the Italian Republic in Russia visits ASU

This morning the ASU administration – Konstantin A. Markelov, the ASU Acting Rector, and Nikolay M. Khurchak, the Vice-Rector for International Relations – welcomed Giuseppe Lo Porto, the Head of the Education Department of the Consulate-General of the Italian Republic in Russia. The meeting was also attended by Olga G. Egorova, the Director of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation, who has contributed greatly to development of the relations between Astrakhan State University and different educational institutions of Italy, as well as official missions of the Italian Republic in Russia. Thanks to her work, our students participate in foreign exchange programmes and study at Italian universities on a regular basis, and we, in our turn, enjoy seeing a robust community of Italian students and teachers in ASU! 🇮🇹🇷🇺
