Trainership at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Representative office of the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in Astrakhan has always been helping and supporting the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation. This time, our 2-nd year MA student Lilya Petrova got an opportunity to have an internship at the Representative office of MFA.

During her internship, Liliya learnt about the structure and main activities of the Representative office of MFA, worked with the classifier of diplomatic documents, analysed the diplomatic documentation, carried out an internal inventory and learnt how to use the state-of-artsoftware and hardware tools. The student also translated some diplomatic documents from Russian into Turkish. Coordinators of the internship marked Liliya’s professionalism and appreciated her being responsible and industrious.
