The Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translating is a unique platform for obtaining high-quality education in practice and theory interpretation and translation that provides an opportunity to practice various foreign languages with native speakers which is a very important aspect of interpreter’s and translator’s training.
On 16th September, the first meeting with Olga Egorova, the Head of the Caspian Higher of School of Interpreting and Translating, and teachers ofthe School was held for students from Italian, Swiss, and French partner universities
The students of the School of Foreign Languages and Literature, Interpretation and Translation of the Bologna University in Forli, Italy, the University of Geneva and the Ca’ Foscary University of Venice are going to attend classes at the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translating for a term. They are also going to help in promotion of the Italian language by delivering presentations on Italy, Italian language and culture.
The students and teachers discussed arrangement of practical training for MA students of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translating and their foreign groupmates well as their participation in joint creative projects such as the Italian language and culture classes for students of the Astrakhan Linguistic Gymnasium and shooting a Russian-Italian student film.
