CITS has Participated in the ASU Celebration of the International Erasmus Days

On October 16, Valentina Alekseenko, a second-year master student of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation’s took part in a conference, organized by Astrakhan State University, as a part of the International Erasmus Days celebration. The International Erasmus Days are celebrated annually worldwide from October 15 to October 17. ASU could not stay uninvolved, especially since for several years it has been a part of the Erasmus and Erasmus+ programmes and within their framework has been actively establishing relations with partner universities around the world. Valentina Alekseenko spoke about her experience with the programme as well; this year she has spent a semester abroad studying in the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.

Participants were also shown a video message from Carlton McDonald, professor of the University of Derby (United Kingdom). Moreover, both students and professors of ASU had an opportunity to converse online with Janerik Lundquist, professor of Linköping University (Sweden), who is also a coordinator of the MAGnUS project, devoted to developing master programmes in mobile applications and game design. Valentina Alekseenko interpreted the conversation and the video-message. ASU students had a chance to learn more about game design master programmes, ask their questions and get some parting piece of advice from the foreign partner.
