CITS Meets with St. Petersburg RSL Partners
On February 9, the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation held an important meeting with Denis Zavaritsky, one of the leading Russian experts in the field of RSL teaching and interpretation, the founder of the Obraz Sign Language School, St. Petersburg.
Preparing for the We Are Together teambuilding, Uliana Saveleva and Natalia Sergeeva, winners of the Practices of Personal Philanthropy and Altruism competition of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, met with Mr. Zavaritsky to discuss his participation in the workshop as an expert.
The Inclusive Linguistic Environment project is crucial for the development of inclusion at Astrakhan State University, and the experience and knowledge of such experts as Denis Zavaritsky will help project participants to keep promoting it efficiently. In addition, Mr. Zavaritsky agreed to speak at the roundtable and describe his method of teaching Russian Sign Language.
During the meeting, the expert shared his ideas about other issues in the field of RSL teaching and interpretation that would be interesting to discuss and gave valuable advice on the most RSL-experienced Russian organizations which would be useful and important to invite to participate in the teambuilding.
