CITS studies arecoming to an endfor MA students enrolled in 2018. Two eventful, exciting and interesting years are over, they were full of wonderful experience and discoveries. Two difficult exams are over to pave the way to the cherished professional dream of becoming true interpreters and translators! CITS Master students who are almost graduates defended their theses online like many other sthis year. Despite the fact, that such format seemed very uncomfortable and complex at first, there were no difficulties in defending the theses online. It was only unusual to deliver the speech in their rooms instead of a demandingUniversity lecture hall, but, as they say, the walls at home are your friends, your comfort and your helping hands!

The topics of graduation theses varied from artificial intelligence in translation and interpretation and intellectual property protection to audiovisual translation in cinema and animationand translation in international institutions. State Examination Board commended the theses and emphasized that it is the variety of research fields that makes each work special, and each report –interesting.

The Theses are Defended, CITS Graduation is Coming up!A new chapter in professional life of the interpreters and translators (no longer future interpreters and translators, but true ones!) started with the words familiar to every graduate: “Congratulations on your successful defense!” This phrase marks the result the students have been training for two years – a fruitful career in the world of interpretation and translation. We share these congratulations and wish our graduates to advance, get better every day and always face difficulties head-on!
