Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation works closely with many international organizations. The number of partner programmes truly leaves a lasting impression, and not every educational institution that trains future interpreters and translators can boast of the list as impressive as this one.Experts from the UN, WIPO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and other significant organizations have already become frequent guests of Astrakhan State University.

However, while there are already established partnerships, the administration of CaspSIT continues to expand the areas and domains of potential cooperation by actively engaging its MA students.
Federal Service for Intellectual Property is Going to Launch a Joint Project with CITS MA StudentsThus, a possibility of launching a partner programme that will actively involve CaspSIT MA students has been seriously discussed after the meeting between Grigory Ivliev, the Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), and CaspSIT trainers and MA students. It is expected that CaspSIT students will work on the sections of the Cooperative Patent Classification related to robotics.
Despite the fact that the students have never dealt with this subject, they already have a wealth of experience in working with patent documentation through the common projects of CaspSIT and WIPO.
After the subject of cooperation had been identified, Ulyana Savelyeva held a meeting with the students and outlined the plan of work.
The preliminary task for the students is to conduct a comprehensive study of the subject, since the work with patent documentation is fraught with certain difficulties in terms of understanding the technical features of designs and varieties of the robotic technologies.
ASU experts in the field of robotics will actively assist CaspSIT students in fulfilling this task.
We believe that this project will set a stage for a long-term and fruitful cooperation with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) and will help the CaspSIT to rise to a new level in the training of high-level specialists not only for international organizations but also for national ones.
