CITS to Сontinue Сooperation with Rospatent

The key learning principle at CITS is a practice-oriented approach in everything our MA students do over the course of the two years of training at School. This also applies to their master’s projects, since the master’s thesis of a CITS graduate is not just a theoretical work, but also a real contribution to the development of the T&I industry as well as the international and Russian T&I community.

On December 1, Uliana Saveleva, Head of CITS, held a working meeting with representatives of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) within the framework of cooperation with our School. 

The meeting focused on the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICGS). Andrey Titov and Alikhan Magomedaliev, our second-year students, will work with terms from ICGS as part of their master’s theses under the supervision of Nadezhda Emelianova, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and Elena Ilova, Head of Chair of English Philology.

Evgenia Oleynikova and Larisa Borodai, Rospatent experts, highly appreciated the results of the previous translation projects of our MA students and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. The terms to be translated by the students were pre-agreed between ICGS and the World Intellectual Property Organization as important for the elaboration and selection of their official correspondence in Russian.
